Derek Boston

MY name is Derek Boston, I played for ALMS from 2013 to 2017 Where I was able to receive a scholarship to play collegiate sports at Clark State Community College which is a division II Juco in the NJCAA. I’m currently enrolled at Austin Community College working on my degree in kinesiology. My vision is to help young men get to college whether it be for sports or academics; while also helping them to become men and teaching values that can be taken into any aspect of life.

My name is Jeremy Blanchard from Orange Texas, after high school, I played basketball at Wiley College, and then transferred to Lamar University. I have been a coach in the ALMS program going on 8 years. My passion and commitment is to every child in this program, not just to play at the next level, but to become better men.

Jonathan Buntyn Head Coach Program Director

My name is Jonathan Buntyn, I am the Head Coach for the Saints Elite (Varsity team), Lead coach over the Saints coaching staff, and program director for ALMS inc. I was born in San Antonio and grew up in the city of San Marcos. I started playing basketball when I was 6 years old, joined Saints basketball when I was 12, and I stayed with the Saints throughout my high school career. This program provided me the opportunity to play basketball after high school at a Post Grad Prep School in Wichita Kansas, I then was offered to play at Pratt Junior college. However, I decided to end my basketball career and start pursuing my coaching career by joining the Saints coaching staff in 2011. Without Saints basketball I would not have a clear vision or purpose for my life. As one of the leaders with ALMS and Saints; I plan to give back to the community by providing our youth with knowledge on how to maximize opportunity, not only in basketball, but life in general.
